GRAPHIX
GlobalShop Trade Show Graphics
Concept, design and production of exhibits created for display company Grafix's booth at the Global Shop 2008 trade show held at Chicago’s McCormick Place. The objective for the booth was to show off as many surfacing capabilities as possible to attendees who were there to be inspired by innovations in retail display products and possibilities. Seeking to capitalize on the boho chic trend prevelent in the marketplace, the sky was the limit as far as imagery when a crafty, colorful theme was decided upon. I had great fun pushing the limits of the many different featured substrates, all with the end goal of showing off the exuberant quality and versatility of graphic surfacing. Plus, animals in outerwear!
Clear plexi glass panels with opaque animal portraits in front of printed back wall panels. The animal portraits had cutout slits so that a real hat and a real scarf could be looped through and displayed.
Dye-sublimation area rug (6' x 9')

Dry erase/chalkboard back panel (behind scrim) with Lewis Carroll poetry
